Some of our tastiest meal ideas have come from a mash-up of leftovers. To create an easy jambalaya, heat steamed chinese take-out (chicken, beef, and vegetables) in a pan with oil. Slice 1 lb Andouille sausage and add to pan. Add chopped fresh tomatoes (our garden Brandywines cook down deliciously well to make a juicy sauce) and several shakes of Reddy Rub. Add cooked white rice and simmer for 10-20 minutes until mixture thicknes. Serve with your favorite red table wine (we enjoyed our meal with a recent Rosso Primitivo).
